Cuttings
Realized with a marquetry saw in species of fruit trees, used for their grains very fine and the diversity of their colors... And it is only the practice since many years, which makes the fineness of cutting...
In only one passage, I obtain the negative one and positive... the cutting is made in wooden fruit trees, with the grain very tight and homogeneous, which make it possible to obtain a large fineness of details...
For them I use the most marvellous of fruit trees, a pear tree which has dried for more than 20 years. Each cutting is carried out in a plate of 7 X 7cm.

Coffret à stylo
La demande était de faire un coffret pour transmettre un stylo noir et or...
Aussi j'ai utilisé de l'ébène pour la boite, mis des charnières visibles en laiton doré et découpé tous les détails en houx, qui, une fois poli, s'apparente si bien à l'ivoire.
Très touché par cette commande, la gestation fût un peu longue car il fallait qu'elle soit "presque" parfaite...
